Nosh and Grog just opened, but they already

Nosh and Grog just opened, but they already have their act together. We arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday night and there were only a few tables filled. By the time we left, the place was hopping!

This is small plates style - the server recommended two to three dishes per person - so we got to try lots of the menu items. Our first dish, the Guacamolito, was not what we expected. It was a green salsa - and we were thinking it might be more like a guacamole. However, it was good. Following along quickly came our other dishes. We LOVED the stone fruit salad, the burger, the mussels and the skirt steak. The food truck tacos were not very flavorful, but the pulled pork on them was great. So many other items to try - we will definitely be back.

The server was so nice and very attentive. We have a food allergy, and she had the chef mark up the menu so we knew what we could order. Food started to come out quickly after we ordered, and came at a steady pace. It was a fun way to eat. Lots of sharing and tasting.

My husband is a wicked beer snob. He has tasted over 1500 different beers and is always looking for something new. He had three beers he had not previously tasted and I had a habanero cider. They had a fun looking cocktail list too.

We will be back. My teenagers are in agreement.
